A March Return to Remember
I have not been back to my LightHouse Gallery Studio 462 ever since February 14th. Mostly due to a major health issue I had since late August. Took this long to gain the proper medical attention I desperately needed, and the procedure went fairly well on March 4th.
Anyway, my main focus of this post is to share that it is good to be back in the gallery and creative again in my home art studio. I was happy to catch up with my Gallery artist friends. Open Studio Saturdays was a slow day, with only a few guests to our art building who took an interest in our art but unfortunately did not buy any.
The pressure was on as a huge snowstorm was coming into the Twin Cities Metro Area, and we discussed closing early that day. We had a building-wide event entitled "NKB Nights" that started at 5 pm and went to 8 pm.
I decided that I would only stay until 4 pm. I got to our Gallery for Open Studio Saturdays at Noonish. I was able to catch up, get some pictures of our gallery for social media posts, and plan out my upcoming paint and sip event for this coming Friday. Mission Accomplished.
We all decided not to stay open for NKB Nights and lock up the gallery. As soon as we all left the Gallery, the snow started lightly falling, and once I got home, the snow came in heavy, just in time to settle in at home and unwind.
A promise I am making to myself is to post more often this year on my website and all of my social media sites.
May the month of March be a great and blessed month for you all.
